Allie Hughes (BA '09), acclaimed wine blogger and our wine guide for the evening has chosen a selection of Niagara wines (with a Brock connection) for the tasting flight at this event:

Learn why Niagara wines taste they way they do, how to describe a wine’s aroma and bouquet, why colour and quality are important and which varietals grow well in the Niagara region.
As the founder of wine blog, winegloss.ca and regular contributor to sites like Wine Align and Naturally in Niagara, Allie gained much of her wine knowledge from her study with the International Sommelier Guild as well as regular correspondence with winery owners and winemakers who teach her something new each time she visits them.
